Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
The terms for using lyv, seller responsibilities, service limits, and protections under Philippine law.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These terms govern lyv’s software service. The contracting operator must be identified on our contact page before production launch. By continuing through the account sign-in flow, you agree to these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and, for buyer processing, the Data Processing Terms. The Privacy Policy explains data handling; acknowledging it is not consent to every processing activity.
You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your business. Keep your Facebook account secure and provide accurate business information.
2. Service and payments
lyv matches authorized Facebook Live comments to catalog items, tracks orders and stock, manages private buyer lists and creates payment requests. Buyers pay the seller directly. lyv does not hold buyer funds, provide escrow, arrange shipping or guarantee a sale.
Generated order invoices are payment requests. No BIR accreditation, authority to print or compliant tax invoicing capability is represented. Sellers must separately issue the legally required tax invoice through an authorized process.
Meta permissions, API availability, outages and matching errors can affect service. Verify claims, quantities, prices and payment receipt before fulfillment. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, recovery of every comment or freedom from Meta restrictions.
3. Seller responsibilities
- Publish accurate seller identity and contact information, complete prices and charges, product condition, delivery arrangements, and lawful return, refund and warranty terms before a buyer pays.
- Maintain applicable business registrations, permits, tax records and product authorizations. Honor mandatory consumer remedies; do not impose blanket “no return, no exchange” terms.
- Provide a buyer privacy notice, establish lawful processing, keep buyer lists accurate and proportionate, and offer human review of disputed entries.
- Use authorized Meta permissions and lawful content. Send invoice links privately; disclose only necessary payment and buyer information.
Seller responsibility does not exclude any duty or liability Philippine law places on lyv as a service provider or digital platform. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4. Plans, charges and cancellation
Paid checkout is not switched on in this review version, and no payment is needed to use it. Pro pricing is proposed, as explained on Pricing. When checkout is switched on, each Pro term (one month, three months or a year) is a single payment through PayMongo that does not renew on its own; when it ends, the account returns to Free, never in the middle of a live. On Free, reaching 50 orders in a month brings a notice, not a cutoff.
Before any paid subscription begins, we must disclose the total PHP price including applicable taxes and fees, billing period, renewal authorization and cancellation procedure, and obtain affirmative agreement. Cancellation can be requested through support; no nonexistent Settings cancellation control is promised.
If a Pro subscription is sold under the advertised 30-day guarantee, a request within 30 days of the relevant charge qualifies for a full refund of that charge. Statutory remedies remain available regardless of that voluntary period. Details are on the refund page.
5. Records and intellectual property
You retain rights in your content. You grant lyv only the permissions needed to provide the requested service. Software and branding remain the rights of their respective owners. Request access, return or erasure through the documented support process; export and account-erasure self-service are not represented as available.
6. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and request closure. We may restrict unlawful activity or access that threatens security. Where safe and lawful, we explain the reason and allow a response or correction. Necessary emergency restrictions may be immediate; you can request review through support.
Closure does not extinguish refunds, consumer rights or valid privacy requests. If we end a future paid service without your breach, we refund the unused prepaid service period, subject to any greater legal remedy.
7. Legal rights and responsibility
Service limitations do not waive rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Philippine law. Nothing excludes responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, unlawful data processing or mandatory consumer protections. Liability is determined under applicable law; no blanket seller indemnity or compulsory waiver of buyer rights is imposed.
8. Changes and disputes
Material contract changes will be communicated through available account or service channels before taking effect, with renewed agreement where required. You may stop using the service if you disagree.
Philippine law governs these terms. Use our complaint procedure for assistance. It does not prevent access to DTI, the NPC or a competent court, or impose exclusive arbitration or a shortened statutory claim period.
