Data Deletion
Last updated: 6 October 2026
How to request access, correction or deletion, and what the current Facebook deletion callback actually removes.
1. Request deletion or a copy
Email privacy@lyv.ph with the subject “Data request”, the relevant account or seller Page, and whether you seek access, correction, Facebook-data removal or account closure. A seller account can have no email, so an account email is not the only possible verification method. We must use proportionate verification before disclosing or deleting records.
There is currently no “Delete my account” button or self-service account-erasure endpoint. Ask for any necessary record copy before closure. Buyers may contact their seller or lyv; we coordinate processor-held requests with the relevant seller and handle our own controller records directly.
2. Disconnecting Facebook
Manage connected Pages in the seller app’s Connect screen, or remove lyv through Facebook’s Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings as applicable. Revoking platform access limits future access; it does not by itself prove all stored buyer, order, payment and backup records were erased.
3. Meta’s callback and its limits
Meta can send a signed request to https://api.lyv.ph/api/v1/webhooks/meta/data-deletion. The current endpoint verifies the request and removes the matching connected MetaAccount and FacebookPage records, including their stored tokens. Related live sessions and comments are removed by database cascades.
The callback is not full account or buyer-data erasure. Seller login identity, buyer records, lists, orders, invoice snapshots, payment proofs and raw webhook records can remain. Further authorized cleanup is required. The callback returns a reference in a link to this page; this page does not query a verified status database or certify completion.
4. Completion and retention
The responsible team must confirm the scope, necessary legal retention, operational deletion date and backup treatment after verification. We do not promise a fixed deletion or backup expiry period that the current deployment has not implemented.
Completion must cover associated files, logs and backup restoration controls, not just database rows. If a record is lawfully retained, the requester must receive the reason, restricted purpose and applicable period. A record copy or deletion cannot expose another seller’s information.
5. Rights and complaints
Read the Privacy Policy for rights and lawful limits. You may contact the National Privacy Commission about a privacy concern without waiving your remedies.
